Bolyai, Farkas (or Wolfgang) (1775-1856)
    

Hungarian mathematician who was the father of Janos Bolyai and a friend of Gauss. He published Janos's results in non-Euclidean geometry Eric Weisstein's World of Math in Tentamen (1829).
