German physicist who in 1927 derived the uncertainty principle Eric Weisstein's World of Physics which states that

He also developed operator Eric Weisstein's World of Math methods for the solution of quantum mechanical problems. On his death bed, Heisenberg is reported to have said, "When I meet God, I am going to ask him two questions: Why relativity? And why turbulence? I really believe he will have an answer for the first." However, this quote is also attributed to Horace Lamb.
